Come downtown for First Wednesday this month & support Breast Cancer Awareness

Come downtown for First Wednesday, October 6th & support Breast Cancer Awareness.  The theme this month is 'Go Pink' and many downtown businesses will be serving pink drinks and having 'pink specials'.  The Artists Bras will be auctioned off (I've peeked at a some of them and they are really amazing!), there is a fashion show starting at 6:30 followed by a benefit concert with Ty Curtis and Duffy Bishop.    For more details, check out:  http://www.gofirstwednesday.info/specials.htm

Calusa Studio has donated a piece from the Wildflower Collection that will be auctioned off during the evening events at the fashion show and benefit concert!  It's a beautiful fine silver pendant that I sculpted from precious metal clay and I set two pink tourmaline stones that make the flowers on the pendant.  The chain is a 1.2mm sterling silver snake with a sterling silver lobster clasp.  All the proceeds from this auction go to the Salem YWCA Breast Cancer Screening Program.
